Nishen is a soon – to – be – a – graduate, Computer Engineering student at the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Nishen has successfully completed 5 - month internship at ShipXpress, a GE Transportation company. His major strengths are teamwork, adaptability, friendliness and the passion to learn.
Nishen is contributing to OpenMRS as a software developer too. Nishen completed his A/Ls and O/Ls at St. Joseph Vaz College, Wennappuwa.

Install Java 8 on Ubuntu

Hi all, In this post, I'm going to show you how to install JDK 8 on Ubuntu 14.04. Java Platform, Standard Edition 8 is a major feature release. For more details see What's New in JDK 8 . First verify that your Linux distribution doesn't have Java 8 installed by default.
